‘Black Ink Crew’ Star Caesar Emanuel Addresses Viral Dog Abuse Video, Says Someone Framed Him

Freshly fired by VH1 after a video surfaced of him who allegedly abused dogs, New York Black Ink Crew‘s Ceaser Emanuel claims it was all a setup.

While chatting with TMZ New York producer Seleah Bussey on Thursday night, Emanuel opened up about the backlash he faced over the viral clip, which showed the tattoo shop owner hitting his dog with a chair. folding several times.

According to Emanuel, he was just “breaking up a fight” between his dogs, until one of them chased him.

“I know the footage everyone has seen, it looks crazy,” he told the outlet. “Even me watching it, it looks crazy. But it’s a moment in time that I wish I could take back. I came home, my dogs are attacking each other. And I don’t don’t talk about the regulars, just play fight I mean they were fighting each other, basically trying to kill each other.

He continued: “I separated the dogs. Now one of the dogs attacked me. What I did was open the garage door, try to defuse it. But I was nervous. I’m not going to lie to you. I was nervous and scared. So at the end of the day, I was trying to get the dog to back off. I was honestly trying to scare him. At no time did I try to abuse this dog. All I was trying to do was put him back in his crate.

Emanuel went on to say he was “rigged” because the leaked footage came from his Ring camera.

“I don’t know how the footage got leaked,” he said. “I know it was out of my Ring camera… I’ll keep a dollar with you. I feel like I’m trapped in a way because the way I’m portrayed is not my character.

Earlier this week, Emanuel, who has starred in the long-running reality series since its premiere in 2013, was fired by VH1.

“We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from The New York Black Ink Team, ” series spokesperson Told Deadline. Since next season was about to finish production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season.
