Can you help save this dog’s life?

Catahoula Rescue of New England in Warren tries to avoid an irreversible decision.

Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group working to find homes for Catahoula Leopard Dogs, Australian Cattle Dogs and mixes. They want to find permanent, loving homes and educate responsible ownership. They are a national rescue organization with a chapter here in Maine. They rescue dogs from shelters and find themselves in dire straits with Bullet. They posted a pleading message on Facebook.

******* NEED URGENT HELP *******
We are reaching out in the final attempt to find Bullet an emergency foster family. We will face an irreversible decision that no rescue should have to make. Please don’t like or be sad about this post… SHARE THIS POST!! Help us save Bullet! This situation in which he finds himself is not his fault but the fault of humans!

They are willing to arrange transportation to the correct home.

Here is more information about Bullet that has been released:

Bullet is a 2.5 year old, 50 pound Catahoula Leopard Dog. He is up to date on all his vaccines, microchipped and neutered. He gets along with other dogs in the house, but not with cats. He is afraid of losing your love, so if there is another dog, it would require more patience, love and understanding. He is crate trained and best with kids over 12. He loves attention and always acts like a puppy and likes to cuddle up in laps. He loves to play with toys and will destroy soft toys fairly quickly, but will appreciate what’s left. He also likes the tougher rubber ones, especially if they contain peanut butter!

He loves to run outside! He can be a puppy at heart and has destroyed many toys, he has never destroyed anything that wasn’t given to him as a toy.

The bullet is coming from a kill shelter. If a house can’t be found, that’s its most unfortunate fate…through no fault of its own. Please share this post!
