Our lost dog presented has many distinctive characteristics, do you recognize him?

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) — In today’s Leigh’s Lost and Found, our featured lost dog has a number of distinguishing characteristics.

Some of those features are his handsome tiger-striped coat and big comical ears. He was also found with a usual leash around his neck.

Shelter coordinator Josh Doss said: “We believe he had a camera strap, like a nylon strap with plastic hooks, around his neck with a torn yellow rope hanging from it. So we think it probably broke free from a tether and detached.

They think the male dog is some kind of Hound mix, around one or two years old.

He was found in Hyde Park last week by an animal control officer responding to another call. He approached her as if he were lost.

Another distinguishing mark is its tail, which has a hook in it, probably from a previous injury that healed this way.
