St. Patrick’s Day Adoption Special at Franklin County Dog Shelter

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center has an adoption special available until March 17th.

More than 110 dogs are waiting to find a forever home. The FCDS has 70 dogs that have been living there for more than 30 days.

The center hopes to attract potential adopters before and on St. Patrick’s Day. All pitbull and pitbull mixes over the age of six months are available for adoption for $18. This is the price of the license.

The video in this story shows one such mixture. The center named the five-and-a-half-year-old pit bull mix “Mater.” He is clean and loves to play fetch, eat snacks, cuddle, and play with any toy you can throw at him.
