The Dog Soldier 4K Restoration Box Set Gets a Release Date

A completely new restoration of by Neil Marshall wickedly savage werewolf feature dog soldiers walk towards Limited Edition 4K UHD/Blu-ray as good as 4K UHD and Blu-ray Standard Edition single versions courtesy of Second Sight Movies this summer. This humorous gorefest and bona fide cult classic now gets a must-have collector’s edition.

The highly anticipated box set arrives August 22, 2022 and includes a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative approved by the director himself and Sam McCurdy the director of photography.

The limited edition comes in a hard case featuring an all new artwork of Chris Malbon and a 108-page book with new essays. During a routine training mission in the Scottish Highlands, a small squad of reckless British soldiers, including Cooper (Kevin McKidd – Trainspotting), led by Sergeant Wells (Sean Perwee – Event Horizon, Gotham), plan to join a special ops unit… but when they arrive, all they find are bloody remains – and a lone survivor, CO Ryan (Liam Cunningham – Hunger, Game of Thrones).
