“Wonderful” dog Maggie available for adoption in Tyler | Local News

Maggie has all the characteristics of a wonderful dog. She is available for adoption at Pets Fur People of the Humane Society in Tyler. Maggie would thrive as part of a family with children, dogs and cats. She loves to go for rides and knows some basic commands. Even better, Maggie is trained at home. Maggie is 6 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She has been sterilized, is up to date on the start of vaccinations, including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification purposes. Maggie will return home with a food starter kit, collar and leash and a ½ price certificate on Tyler Obedience Training Club Basic Obedience. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pets Fur People is closed to the public and is taking adoptions by appointment only. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – closed for lunch 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the oldest no-kill shelter in East Texas.
